Are you adventurous? Are you the kind of person that would say hey, our families are from different parts of the US, let’s meet in the middle!
I’m always surprised to hear that many people have not heard of the Black Hills, even fewer have heard of Custer State Park. I’m sure you’ve heard of the Sturgis motorcycle rally, and this is pretty close to the same area of the United States. A hidden gem, for real. I am so lucky its only 5-6 hours from my front door! I would go much farther to reach somewhere so beautiful with so many different places to camp and hike and explore. And that’s all without mentioning to GET MARRIED! Sarah and Zach chose this beautiful location for their wedding because they are some of the coolest people you will ever meet, that is why. Hah. Where did they go on their honeymoon? New Zealand. To go hiking. These are my people, y’all.
Beyond their sense of adventure, Sarah and Zach have a love for each other and a love for their God that is so deeply rooted that you will see it all throughout their day. Zach absolutely adores Sarah for who she is and Sarah was SO excited to see Zach for the first time!

Normally I do my best to avoid full sun. But when there is this view you learn to expand your horizons. And now I’m in love! there will definitely be more playing with this in the future <3

Laughing. It’s hot as ever outside and I’m making these two climb rocks and go here and go there. And they are laughing. I am so happy right now.

OH man. I’m really lacking on the words end of this as I type tonight, but these two are so, absolutely, completely, and utterly crazy about each other. And it wasn’t in much that they said, but their actions, the way their eyes were when they looked at each other. I was blown away. THIS is why I love my job.
Aaaaaand more climbing. This was STEEP you guys. Especially just above where they are. And I’m all like “do you guys mind going all the way to the bottom?” and they’re all like “sure!” *shakes my head* they make my job so easy.
And the in between, maybe not beautiful moments. In the back of our hot car. When they think I’m not looking.

The details here are TO DIE FOR. Nothing needed to be added to their breathtaking day. But it just kept happening. More and more awesomeness 🙂
This moment right here? Where Sarah’s mom is so excited that she’s almost jumping out of her chair? This is where I cried. Oh my goodness, the love she has for her daughter is so wonderful and overwhelming. I just can’t even.
The fires in Montana (Labor Day 2017) were sending lots of smoke our way. But man, look what it did for these sunset photos!!
